Through its notes and its slow atmosphere, Ambient is a music that allows to travel, to visually imagine situations, stories.
"MUD" is the one of a boxer who is preparing himself for a fight and who feels the need to go at the shallows of his city to remind himself to the life’s hardness of some people. He must look at the mud in order to draw new strength from it.

Tanguy alias "Are Morica" lives in the district of Bodnath in Kathmandu. He has always been inspired by these decrepit alleys in which appear an unusual life and faces. In this new track accompanied by a music video, he once again pays tribute to these everyday "unimportant people". Musically speaking, the song is at the borders of classical ambient codes and the film theme where we feel touches of film noir and « jazz noir". He wanted to break several codes. In the first place, the usual postcards of this district, often summarized through the Stupa and the monasteries. In the second place, to leave classic illustrations of ambient music, often made of sumptuous landscapes. Through these images, Are Morica wishes to recall that you can also see beauty in the mud. He delivers a clip that looks more like a movie teaser, an experimental video where everyone can imagine the rest of the story.
